1. Create a MySQL database

    # mysql -u root -p

    mysql> CREATE DATABASE ocsweb;
    mysql> GRANT ALL ON ocsweb.* TO 'ocs'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';
	mysql> USE ocsweb;
	mysql> SOURCE ${MY_SQLSCRIPTSDIR}/mysql/${PVR}_create.sql
    mysql> quit

2. Edit user and password in

    ${MY_INSTALLDIR}/dbconfig.inc.php

If you want a different name than 'ocsweb' for database, modify

    ${MY_INSTALLDIR}/preferences.php

3. Edit the configuration file

    /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/ocsinventory.include

and set database settings.
Then add the file to your apache configuration using the statement

    Include /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/ocsinventory.include

4. Restart your webserver, login with admin:admin and change the password.
