TypeScript adds optional types to JavaScript that support tools for large-scale JavaScript applications for any browser, for any host, on any OS. TypeScript compiles to readable, standards-based JavaScript. From 7.0 on the compiler is the native port written in Go and ships as a prebuilt executable; tsc is a small Node.js launcher for it.
