It gives any LSP-capable editor completion, diagnostics, navigation, refactoring, formatting and code actions for Java, and imports Maven and Gradle projects on its own. This package installs the official prebuilt milestone under /usr/share/jdtls and a jdtls launcher in /usr/bin. The launcher keeps its writable OSGi configuration and per-project workspaces under ~/.cache/jdtls, so the installed tree stays read-only.
