upstream Kiro CLI tarball does not ship a LICENSE file inside the bundle;
the kiro.dev/license page is the authoritative location for the terms.

For open-source attribution of components statically linked into the Kiro
CLI (Bun, JavaScriptCore, WebKit, tinycc, etc.) run:

    kiro-cli dashboard

then click "Show License" at the bottom of the preferences page.

The Kiro CLI suite (https://kiro.dev/docs/cli/) consists of the
command-line binaries kiro-cli, kiro-cli-chat, and kiro-cli-term. It is a
proprietary product of Amazon Web Services, Inc. ("AWS"). Use of the Kiro
CLI binaries distributed via dev-util/kiro-cli-bin is governed by:

  1. The AWS Customer Agreement
       https://aws.amazon.com/agreement/
  2. The AWS Intellectual Property License
       https://aws.amazon.com/legal/aws-ip-license-terms/
  3. Any additional terms presented by kiro-cli itself at first launch.

By accepting this license token (via ACCEPT_LICENSE="Kiro-CLI-EULA"), you
acknowledge that you have read and agree to the documents above.

Redistribution
--------------

Redistribution of the Kiro CLI binaries is not permitted outside the terms
set by AWS. For that reason:

  * rato-verlay does NOT host or mirror the Kiro CLI tarball. The ebuild
    fetches the tarball directly from AWS's public distribution endpoint
    at build time.
  * The dev-util/kiro-cli-bin ebuild carries RESTRICT="strip mirror bindist"
    so that Gentoo mirrors and binhosts do not attempt to redistribute
    either the distfile or any binpkg derived from it.

Warranty
--------

The Kiro CLI is provided by AWS "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, per
the AWS Customer Agreement and AWS Intellectual Property License linked
above.
