Titov M-Commander (formerly mc6) is a fork of GNU Midnight Commander, based on 4.8.33, whose panel contents can come from dynamically loaded plugins: git, docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, S3, FTP/FTPS, SFTP, Samba, systemd, shell connections and an archive manager. It replaces the built-in ftpfs, sftpfs, tarfs and cpiofs VFS modules with those plugins, and adds the mcstruct structured binary viewer and a Lua runtime extension. Since 6.1.0 its commands are mcommander, mcedit6, mview and mdiff, so it installs alongside app-misc/mc; 6.0.4 still installs as /usr/bin/mc and blocks it.
